Pipeline Plugs & Testing
When isolating a location you will need a pneumatic plug, as sewer systems do not have valves. You will find a wide variety of pipe plugs available through us, between 4” to 144”. They are like a large balloon made of durable rubber.
In addition to plugs, we also offer:
- Fittings, gauges and hoses
- Air test and vacuum test equipment for manholes
- Test plugs
- Pipe plugs for testing or blocking
- Deflection gauges
- Water main test pumps, gauges, to pump to 150psi
Pipe Plugs & Sewer Plugs
You will find a wide variety of both pipe plugs and sewer plugs available in order to isolate, repair, or test a section of pipe. These pneumatic plugs – standard or specialty – can be used to stop the flow or bypass the flow. Available in sizes ranging up to 144 inches and made of heavy-duty rubber.
Air Test Equipment
Designed for both line acceptance tests and leak location testing. Pressure can be regulated with simple valve control and hoses are color-coded for simplicity. The included gauges help to monitor compressor pressure, plug pressure and test pressure so that you get accurate readings. Can also be used as blocking plugs.
Manhole Vacuum Test Equipment
For locations that require manhole vacuum testing, this equipment enables you to examine new and existing manholes for infiltration and exfiltration problems. Install plugs in order to isolate new manholes from connecting sewer lines, and then run a preliminary test to demonstrate the condition of the concrete manholes prior to backfill. The manhole vacuum testing equipment provides a usage range of 14”-34” and requires power from a compressed air source.
Gauges
Pump Gauges used to measure air or water pressure come in a variety of measurement ranges and require exact fittings. Finding the right one is made much easier with our knowledgeable staff’s help.
Deflection Gauges are used to test flexible sewer pipe for out-of-roundness or deflection, ensuring that the pipe has been properly bedded and backfilled for optimal performance. Ranging in size from 6” to 24”.
